Angstrom Sciences Appoints New R&D Manager
Pittsburgh, PA, May 15, 2006 – Angstrom Sciences announces the appointment of Richard Newcomb to the position of R&D Manager. Richard comes from five years of research and development at Applied Films (now Applied Materials) based out of Longmont, CO and offers nearly 25 years of experience in the thin film industry.
From application and process development to field service and installation, Richard’s extensive background provides him with the unique ability to solve a problem from both the technical and operational perspectives. Mark Bernick, President of Angstrom Sciences said, “His expertise in magnetics and cathode design will help us to optimize existing product, launch breakthrough designs, and stay on the cutting edge of deposition technology.”
